One of my favorite directors is Guillermo Del Toro. And I recently saw his recent movie called The Crimson Peak, in behind the scenes he described the main character as butterfly and described the movie like a painting palette. Because of this film, I was inspired to create an angel with heads as an illusion as wings.

I am such a huge horror fan and one of my favorite films is Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. This was a project to make two images in one picture. I tried to show the dark imagery and suspense in this digital drawing.

I know this is not a digital design but this is a landscape I painted my last break of Christmas. During this time I tried challenging myself out of my comfort zone and try something new with landscapes. In my surprise I fell in love with painting landscapes and I mostly painted with a couple of refrence, but I mostly made everything up in my head.

In this week I was working on this project it became very challenging for me. One of the reasons its because I did not know anything about typography. And it was difficult for me creating an educational poster of typography to arrange the letter, but also make appealing to the viewer as well.

For my client, I included a flyer for her business. I tried to make it simple as possible, because I do not want to over overwhelm the viewer with so much detail in the flyer where they cannot read the message. And I tried making it balanced as possible.

These are logos I designed for my Design Communication class. One part of the assignment was to create a logo for a client and the other for my own logo as a designer.
The first two are my own logos and my whole goal was to give that artist look, because I love art at heart. The logos with a crown and the needle are logos I designed my client for a local business. The logo with a crown, I tried giving a fun creative way for a logo since her business is called "Royal Formal Wear." And the other I made the logo into a needle, because her job is fixing clothes for a living.

This project is still not done yet, but I hope the message comes clear enough. The subject is that most people try to take advantage of the government's money and the few good ones that really deserve it, but do no qualify for whatever reason are the ones that are truly suffering. Later on I will post the final image so the message seems a bit more clearer.

To create the digital sketch above I took most of inspiration from one of my favorite tattoo artist named Jesse Smith who is a new school artist. In this piece he did is called "The Dumb Politician" representing that our government is running us blind.
