The Plagues of Babylon by Iced Earth single "Plagues of Babylon" talks about a disease that is released upon society. As humans we commit many unforgivable sins, and it talks about the plagues it is referring to our sins. And like a disease that we can't escape the plagues refers to our sins that contaminate us and make us weak the longer we go.

The film Pumpkinhead is about a father who deals with the loss of his only son by summoning a demon that will haunt the teenagers who are responsible for his son's death. This image is newly illustrated and designed to attract the new generation and other people who are fans of the franchise to purchase for Halloween. The image shows a demon summoned at night ready for its next victim. The reason its called Pumpkinhead, because its buried in a patch of pumpkins even though it doesn't have a head of a pumpkin. The moon represents the many nights its summoned to haunt its victims.
The classic gothic horror tale Frankenstein by Mary Shelley about young Victor Frankenstein creating the legendary monster that we is very well known today. The cover shows thunder behind an old castle with small scars around the cover as a border. The thunder is the main thing in the story, because that is what made the monster come to life by Mr. Frankenstein waiting for the right moment for the strongest thunderstorm to appear in front of him. The castle is also a very important element in the story, because that castle is where Mr. Frankenstein locked himself away for months from society to work on his creation. The scars represent the monster that Mr. Frankenstein created, from outside and inside, because the monster had to face loss, fear and the feeling of abandonment by his creator.
