Darrell Finnegan is a studio artist known be doing pottery. He won the Serving the Client award, that his colleagues and students recommended for him to get. In his pottery works he uses the principles and elements with space, lines, color, repetition, light, textures and patterns. With his pottery, he makes different shapes and sizes by making jugs, plates, mugs and more. For example, he made and painted and repeating spots on the jug and making it different sizes; also making those spots into a pattern all around the jug. He used space between the spots to help create a form around it. In another pottery creation he made he used line and textures around, he made the lines evenly proportion to one another and it also helped make a pattern as well. He uses light and color to help them make form, he paints them with a darker color and makes it fade to another tone helping it create an evenly tone with one color.
